This cuvette is designed with 2 clear windows for use in absorption spectroscopy experiments, and two frosted sides for easy handling. This type of cuvette is not appropriate for use in fluorescence spectroscopy where it is necessary to have four polished windows. Cuvettes with four polished sides here.

The fused quartz material has a transmission of 83%. The cuvette is usable in the UV and visible wavelength range. 10mm standard path length and 12.5 x 12.5 mm outer size make the cuvette suitable for most spectrophotometers.

This cuvette has a 12.5 x 12.5 x 45mm outer dimension and a volume of 3.5 mL. The cuvette is designed with PTFE Lid for better chemical resistance (screw cap and PTFE stopper types are better in sealing) applications.  This cuvette is our bestselling product and fits all standard spectrophotometers.

  • Note: These HTR cuvettes can be used with most popular organic solvents, as well as acids and bases. They are compatible with chemicals such as acetone, butanone, DMF, and concentrated hydrochloric acid.
